Just because you haven't heard of Law Enforcement Intelligence Units
doesn't mean they haven't heard of you. This network of secret police
collects information from confidential informants... criminals... to
justify initiating investigations on honest citizens. Does a local drug
dealer seem to have a grudge against you? It could be an act to use your
name to get paid for a tip. If the tip turns into an investigation it could mean a lot more money.
The LEIU are the corrupt cops you see in the movies. There is literally
no accountability or oversight. They do what they like. While they are a
tool used by better known law enforcement agencies, their job is to do
the dirty work. Check them out. If you feel you are getting too much
attention from the government, this group is your Huckleberry.
